Bill: Reduction of the Corporation Tax
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 4123
Description[?]:
The corporation tax currently stands at 25%. This is not acceptable. If the government would give businesses a level playing field, then we could compete with the rest of the world. Right now, businesses can't unleash their ingenuity and innovation due to this crippling tax. I propose that we lower the corporation tax to 15%. Not only would this make us more competitive with other nations, it will finally allow the private sector to do what they do best, create jobs. |

Random quote: "Civil disobedience. . . is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. . Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem." - Howard Zinn |
