Bill: Increasing Assembly Session Duration Act of 4135
Details
Submitted by[?]: Nouveau Centre
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4135
Description[?]:
Monsieur le Président, President Vanier has told me he wishes to travel abroad to foreign nations and to speak on Rildanor's behalf and to help facilitate diplomatic relations, but the short length of successive governments is a big obstacle to this endeavor. Once again, the Centrists are pushing for lengthening the assembly session in order to ensure the government has time to actually do things. I am sure that if the opposition parties were in power, they would support this very measure. Aurelien Chatal Prime Minister Deputy for Tiralouse (Nouveau Centre) |
