Bill: The Religious Minister Freedom Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti de la Liberté Démocratique
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4138
Description[?]:
The PLD believes that by appointing minister and religious officials itself, and preventing their congregations from paying them fairly, the government is in effect placing itself in charge of religious and spiritual life in Kanjor, an intolerable infringement upon the rights of the people. Religions are capable of choosing their own ministers without interference from the government, and the PLD can think of no other professions that is expressly forbidden from receiving payment for their work. |
