Details

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 4143
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, I rise today to propose the following piece of legislation. This past election we saw what constitutes a major political shift in this country. The people, very soundly and loudly, rejected the rule of elite. They rejected the the idea of an elite class. They said "no" to continue rule of the top 1% in this country. It is, therefore, incumbent upon us in this body to make changes. That starts today, with the Amending the Powers of the Nobility Act, that will, in a sense of compromise and good faith, maintain the institution of nobility, and still grant them certain rights and privileges, though minor. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Privileges of nobility (if nobility is recognised by the government).
Old value:: Nobility confers major rights, and can be hereditary.
Current: Nobility confers major rights, and can be hereditary.
Proposed: Nobility confers only titles and certain minor rights, but no political powers, and can be hereditary.
