Bill: Abortion Emergency Reform Act 4150
Details
Submitted by[?]: Fortschrittsvereinigung
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4150
Description[?]:
Following the failures of both the Abortion Rationality Act which would restrict abortions to only the first trimester, and two bills proposing to only allow abortions in medical emergencies, we are still left with current legislation which allows it throughout the entire pregnancy. This is unacceptable and in our minds worse than only allowing it in medical emergencies. In order to break the stalemate on abortions and cease this terrible law, our party will for now support only allowing them in medical emergencies and the provisions the Conservative Union laid out in their Abortion Law Reform of May 4149 (link provided bellow). This will fast track a new law in banning abortions being allowed in all trimesters due to this proposal with our party's backing now having sufficient backing throughout the State Council. http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=500481 |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
