| Aldo Martiri, whip of PSLI: "we propose to put an end also to the prohibitionism on this matter, bring toward you the same motivation that pushed us to propose the reintroduction of the Tobacco sale and consumation. The Cannabis is no more dangerus than the Tobacco or the Alcohol, these two last substance cause more and more death each years than the Cannabis, a substance used also for sanitary purposes. Allow and Regulate to reduce the expenditures related to the contrast, the costs of justice and to free the prisons; Allow and Regulatet to crush the black market and to take away from the hands of crime an important financial resource; Allow and Regulate to ensure to the citizens a safe and certified product; Allow and Regulate to ensure to the State a considerable source of revenue for the its Budget (OOC: RP assumption). These are the points in favor of the end of Prohibitism and proof of this are the decades of permission situation that since the last century have only show us just benefits: tax revenues, reduction of health complications related to this substance, weakening of organized crime, even decline in consumption (OOC: just look at the actual effects had in countries like the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and some states in the USA).
