Description[?]:
Parti Democratiqué Populaire wants to increase the status of higher educational institutions in our country. First of all, we want to give academics a wider range of education to choose from by abolishing the ban on private universities and other high educational institutions. Parti Democratiqué Liberte sees education as essential in order to succeed in life - however we do not believe that everyone are entiteled to an academic education if they are not going to make any use of it. It is a waste of taxpayers money. That is why we want to change the current system of entitlement to a system of student loans. This will upgrade the status of an academic education and will require more determination from students to really succeed with their academic carreers. It will increase the incentives to work harder and at the same time prevent students from choosing courses or programs that they are not sure they will have use of or enjoy. Parti Democratiqué Populaire presents to the Sénate the following bill, proposing the following: |
