Bill: Budget proposal of October 4168

Details

Submitted by[?]: United National Congress

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4169

Description[?]:

The United National Congress propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the United Republic of Pontesi. With tensions with the BKAU calming down following their successful cease of operations in Pontesi following our military intervention, we feel we can restore the military budget back to a lower sum. Do note we still have a very high budget compared with others in Terra and on the continent. Head of government will receive a cut in funding due to wasteful spending and a general lack of need for as much money as the taxpayer are giving. And finally, Health & Social Services will receive a minor cut to a rounder figure following some of the numerous reforms we have taken with healthcare to lessen costs.

Random fact: Real life-life nationalities, cultures or ethnicities should not be referenced in Particracy (eg. "German").

Random quote: "Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction." - Charles R. Magel
