Bill: Sanctity of Life Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Traditionalists
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4185
Description[?]:
With great regard to the sanctity of life, any abortion beyond the first trimester is here by illegal. Three months time is sufficient to determine whether or not to carry a pregnancy to term. It is not fair that, after the first trimester as the child has greatly developed, should have to suffer because of adult irresponsibility. There is, however, reason to, after carrying the child to term, allow for immediate adoption so as to relieve the birthing mother, if incapable of raising a child or if the child's father also chooses a relinquishment of rights, of any suffering; this is in keeping with the best interest of child. |
