Bill: Abolition of the Theocracy Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Salvation Front of Aldegār
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4188
Description[?]:
While it is perhaps more of a statement than an action to even hope that these measures are passed, we are certain that we speak with the voice of the entire people -not just the minority faiths and secularists, but those followers of Yazdan who tire of hearing the great Ahadi faith misconstrued by theocratic oppressors, or the Zamanists who find their own faith discarded as irrelevant- in proposing an end to the un-democratic tyranny of a hardline clique of unstable fanatics over a great, prosperous, and most importantly, indivisible nation. It is for this reason we press forth, to show Aldegar that there is another path. Liberty, socialism, salvation! For a revolutionary democracy! |

Random quote: "The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now." - Louis Proyect |
