Bill: Budget proposal of January 4194

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democracy Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4195

Description[?]:

The Democracy Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Military Republic of Dolgaristan.

This budget proposal would drastically cut Dolgaristan's military (seeing as we are in no wars and have no need of a military at this time) and the salary of the head of government, as well as a minor cut to industry subsidization. It would use these funds to increase funding for Health and Human Services by over a trillion DLDs and would add approximately 200 billion each to the budgets for Internal Affairs, Justice, Infrastructure and Transport, Education and Culture, Science and Technology, and Environment and Tourism.

This reform would allow Dolgaristan to invest heavily into its future economy through investing in technology, infrastructure, and education and to preserve the health and safety of both its citizens and its environment for generations to come.
