Preamble:- Recognizing the increase in gun crimes within the nation due to the influx of the use of firearms, the Government proposes an act to curb the clout of firearms use in the country.

Article 1: Weapons under Prohibition
Any person commits and offence, if without authority from the National Security Committee, if he/she is in possession, acquires, or manufactures, sells or transfers.
(i) Any self-loading or pump-action weapon(s)
(ii) Any rocket launcher, or any mortar, for projecting a stabilized missile
(iii) Any air rifle, air gun or air pistol.
(iv) Any firearm which is successively discharged without repeated pressure on the trigger.
(v) Any ammunition for military use.
(vi) Any ammunition for military use which explodes on contact or in the region of a given target (air burst).
(vii) Any handgun of any sort, make or brand.

Article 2: Licensing
Any individual under the statutes of this legislation may obtain licensing to use a firearm under the purposes of
(i) Target shooting
(ii) Clay pigeon shooting
(iii) Hunting
(iv) Firearms Auctioning
Persons registered under the Royal Firearms Control Registry are subject to abide by the necessary safe storage policy (licensed weapons must be stored out of the reach of children, the ammunition removed and out of the reach of children and adults)

Article 3: Prosecution of Breaching Firearms Policy
(i) Any person who breaches the provisions established in Article 1 and/or 2 are subject to the revocation of their licence.
(ii) Any person found in possession of firearms without a formidable reason and licensing is subject to 10 years imprisonment
(iii) Any person who uses firearms as a means to execute any act against the state is subject to imprisonment under the prescribed arrest-able offenses.
(iv) Any person who enters a building with a firearm (with licensing) without permission from the building owner, shall be arrested on sight.
(v) Any person who is found acquiring, manufacturing, selling, transferring, "smuggling" firearms defined under Article 1 are subject to imprisonment according to the court.
(vi) Any person who possesses firearms without proper reasoning and licencing can have all firearms within their possession removed.

Article 4: Special Exemptions
The National Security Committee shall exempt the following government agencies from firearms prosecution as it is imperative to increase their operational effectiveness.
(i) All Special Firearms Units of All Law Enforcement Agencies across the country
(ii) The Armed Forces
(iii) Protective Services (Security Services) registered under the Ministry of Home and Kingdom Affairs.
(iv) All Government Intelligence Services

Article 5: Special Exemptions (Civilian)
The National Security Committee shall exempt the following reasons from firearms prosecution.
(i) Firearms Auctioning
(ii) Shooting Sport
(iii) Hunting
(iv) Target Shooting

Article 6: Powers of the Ministry of Home and Kingdom Affairs
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reserves the right to:-
(i) Take all firearms (licensed and non-licensed), if it is imperative to improve the nation's national security
(ii) Revoke all licensing and make firearms possession illegal for civilian, law enforcement and military personnel and agencies.

*Upon passing this legislation shall be forced into immediate effect.
**In order to overturn/amend/abolish this legislation a 2/3 majority must be obtained within the Stortinget.
