| Filippo Marra, Minister of Finance: "The Government propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic. Given the incoming large liberalizations and privatizations, the State will be able to free several resources for the future intervention against the crisis. But with this reform of the budget the State will retake funds once dedicated to project already concluded in the field of the infrastructure and to support past industrial initiatives, for example the HAWS tax deduction or the completing of the last naval project relative to the construction of new Vittorioso Class submarines. Then, the large decriminalization of the last years will allow the Judiciary to see alleviated its workload with saving of time and resources. The budget of the defence however will not return to the level of the last increase of budget, because currently Istalia had to provides the defense also of its Kalopian Protectorate, so, the budget to the defense shall continue to assure adeguate funds for our international commitment. About the cut to the budget dedicated to the National Welfare, this is only a first step, because the Government wishes to proceed gradually to allow a passage to the new Welfare system with less shock possible. Finally, I must still talk about defence needs and to do it I had to show the last reports on the evolution of the situation in Kalopia-Wantuni: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=7247&start=20#p114307 The situation became day by day more dangerous and we needs to increase our efforts in the region to assure the security of the kalopian citizens which we are committed to defend and the security of our interests in place. The measure will provides the sending of the III fleet which will bring in the Protectorate other 15000 soldiers to secure the frontier an to strengthen the forces already into the Protectorate. In the future the Government will show how use the funds recovered but first of all it will provides an important income tax cut for our citizens. Thank you" |
