Bill: Yazdist Creation Education Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Aldegar Unity Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4209
Description[?]:
Due to the increasing concensus of the public that the theory of evolution has unanswered questions about the origin of life, we encourage the Assembly to pass this bill requiring schools to promote Yazdist Creation myths as a valid alternative to the secular and Yazdan-less theory of evolution. While it may not replace the theory of evolution in educational curriculum until further laws will be passed, the teachers would encourage students to discuss the validity of both theories. In this bill, all science-related textbooks approved by the Aldegar Ministry of Education would be required to have a disclaimer stamped on the back cover contain the following passage: "Please note that evolution is a theory and not a fact. Please assess it and the Yazdist creation stories for yourselves." |
