The Importance of Infrastructural Investment to the economy:- Infrastructure means connectivity like road, rail, ports and telecommunications. These are basic to economic development and growth. With connectivity the economy will open to outside world, trade and commerce will flourish. With connectivity industries will be established as labour and capital will flow from surplus regions to connected and developing areas. Housing, education and health services also constitute part of infrastructure development which ensure improvement in quality of life. Infrastructural Investment Scheme:- Total: 65 Billion Krona. Public Utilities --4.6 Billion for government investment into wastewater treatment solutions. --3.4 Billion for government investment into the reduction of emissions in the industrial sector --2.1 Billion for Transnational Public Works Division for public infrastructural maintenance/repairs --1.5 Billion for implementation of the Safe Travelling Act. Communications and Information Services --10.4 Billion for complete, free broadband and wireless internet access throughout the nation --9.4 Billion for the completion of the social security administration --6.5 Billion for upgrades in the telecommunication service Energy Infrastructure --12 Billion for Government repairs of the hydroelectric power stations in the southern and northern region. --11 Billion for the Construction of the Seyoisfjoror Wind Farm --4 Billion for government investment into the development of an entirely alternative energy powered electricity grid. |
