Bill: Civil Right to Life Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Liberal Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 4228

Description[?]:

The Civil Right to Life Act is a document meant to reform the healthcare system of Aloria, creating a public healthcare system combined with a private, optional healthcare system. We believe that it is the right of everyone to access healthcare procedures without being bonded by financial status. However, we will never refuse someone's right to seek private treatment for all sorts of situations, of course, paying for that themselves.

The Civil Right to Life will also reinstate the universal children benefit. We consider that the government has the duty to invest in Aloria's future, and putting money in our children is the best way to do this.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe
