| In the interest of fairness, the PSS presents this proposal that was originally part of "PSS omnibus II" legislation. In the name of individual liberty, we feel that schools should decide if sex education is appropriate. The current one size fits all legislation is not a solution. Some parents may wish to take on this task themselves rather than leaving the responsibility to the state. As this has already been included in our previous proposal, we are moving straight to the vote. |

Old value:: Schools have an obligation to give sexual education at some point in puberty.
Current: Schools have an obligation to give sexual education at some point in puberty, but individual students have an opt-out option.
Proposed: This decision is up to the schools themselves without government regulation.
