Bill: Right to Vote
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti social-démocrate
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4250
Description[?]:
Let us overturn the recent move to ban voting whilst imprisoned. Allowing prisoners basic rights such as voting serves two purposes: 1. It will make it easier for them to reintegrate into society as they would not lose this fundamental right. 2. It will allow them to have a voice in government and vote for better living conditions within prison. A right that will help to mitigate the risk of riots and assure decent conditions in all incarceration facilities. |
