>The people of Kalopia in great appreciation for Malgus III Thaller their Tyrant's heroic efforts in liberating the nation from communism, general iniquity and outside domination hereby invest the following powers in the position of Tyrannos (Tyrannos)--- - The power to appoint all officials and representatives of the State and determine and implement all policies carried out by the State. - The supreme command over the Armed Forces including commissioning of all officers of the Armed Forces. - The legal title to all property owned by the State and the freedom to dispose of it as the Tyrant sees fit. - The power to issue Decrees with the force of law in all areas not covered by legislation. - All other powers of State are to be vested in the Tyrant and exercised by other functionaries of the State only with his consent. > The Tyrannos shall be elected for life by the National Assembly with a vote of two thirds of all legislators necessary. >The people also recognise the Thallerist Renaissance Party as the main guardians and proponents of the Thallerist Renaissance. All loyal citizens are expected to seek membership of the Party. Failure or refusal to do so will result in imprisonment for a period of no less than one year. OOC: This is a constitutional Act, passed with a two thirds majority of all legislators and thus amendable only with a similar majority. The final provision does NOT establish a one party state but rather only recognises the TRP as the leading party in the nation. |
