Bill: P.d.l. 02/4265 - Measures to ban unfair worker condition Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Alleanza Radicale - NCD
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 4265
Description[?]:
Giorgia Mulino, Whip of LP: "we firmly consider the closed shop, the union shop and the agency shop legislation highly lesive of the right of all the workers to be free not adhering to any trade union association (and the law is clear: the membership to an Union is totally voluntary for the workes), because they would be an incentive, albeit indirect, to join an Union organization. Subordinate the employment of a worker to the condition that he or she adheres to a trade union association or ceases to be part of it is highly harmful for every worker, as well as demanding him/her to adhere to an Union organization after to be hired or to pay to work and defend its right to not be part of an Union." |
Proposals

Old value:: Closed shops, union shops and agency shops are legal.
Current: Only open shops are legal.
Proposed: Only open shops are legal.
