Description[?]:
The Lion and Sun Alliance praises the Jrl Dynasty for its overthrow of the Kathuran apartheid regime and its infidel government, and the Jelbic nation shall forever remain grateful to the Jrl for their selfless promotion of Jelbic interests in Barmenistan and the wider Jelbosphere. But one obstacle remains in the path of national unity, namely the division of the Jelbic speakers into different sects and denominations. While we remain fully committed of the wise Thallerid policy of elevating the divine religions of Ahmadism and Felinism above anti-national cults, the fact remains that millions of Barmenians have strayed from the godly path and have, during generations of infidel rule, joined the devilish sects of the Kathurans and Yeudis. The current policy is thus sadly impractical and potentially destructive and will fail to achieve its desired goal. For that reason we in the Lion and Sun Alliance call for a reexamination of the Sultanate's approach to infidel religions. Rather than punish all those who have fallen from the path of Akim, we must instead gently guide those wayward sons and daughters of Azaeran to the right faith, through persuasion rather than force. By punishing only the most recalcitrant dissidents those who peacefully cling to their corrupt ways will in time see the light and more eagerly rejoin the fold of the Jelbic nation. |
