Bill: Religious reform act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Likaton Fascist Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2191

Description[?]:

For far too long this country has been held to ransom by religion. We seek to free the country from this state of affairs.

1. Foreign missionaries may be spies, or simply here to foment trouble. There is no need for their entry.

2. If poeple want to become religious, we are sure they know how to find a place of worship. They do not need to contend with the power of hired media.

3. Ordinary Likatonians have a right not to be assailed by articles of religious clothing. Besides, these identifiers can be used to build clique groups rather than integrate into a the wider society.

4. Keep religion away from our children. They should not be placed in an environment where scientific reasoning is thrown out the window for a more 'faith' based devolopment of their young minds.

5. PSS considers that the only permanent answer to this scourge of religion is to ban it.
