Bill: Working Local Adjustment Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Whig Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4283
Description[?]:
The amount of hours that can be worked before the time is considered over-time has long been a bastion of strength for the Unions, this bill proposes placing this power in the hands of local governments to let the Provinces decide what policies work for them. Where policies have been taken to extremes in the name of bettering the worker now workers are employed sometimes by multiple jobs since employers are afraid of letting anyone gain too many hours. This bill places the power of deciding these matters closer to the hands of communities and the people. |
