| Only with a strong self-reliant nationally-based bourgeoisie can Barmenistan overcome its economic backwardness without falling victim to international imperialism and foreign dominance. It is crucial that the national capital of the Sultanates take part in the economic reconstruction of society, which it cannot do without a consolidated national bourgeoisie that will reduce dependence on foreign capital and remove the inefficiencies of a centrally-planned economy. This also means that for the time being Barmenistan will have to dismantle the welfare state. Expensive contributions to the poorest members of society can only be achieved in a stable prosperous economy, and continuing to do so now hinders the potential growth of an independent Barmenian bourgeoisie. Once we have achieved a level of prosperity comparable to the most advanced economies on Terra we can return to providing welfare.
