Description[?]:
I am overwhelmed to have been trusted by the public to take this position. Clearly the people have decided to push Dorvik forward, to reject the leftist economic nonsense plaguing politics, to strengthen our hand on the international stage. We have seen a number of problems arising in Dorvish society recently. We have seen Kordusia crumble under a Communist regieme, and I know that they will not survive without a bail-out. I will be talking to the Kordusian Provincial Authority and the Die Linke governor there on the matter. In return for sensible leadership, closely monitored, we will secure the safety of Kordusian citizens. There is also the Hulstrian issue... I know many have urged the Government to reject them, and we will listen. But we will not remove nuclear protection unless they take any direct action against us. Frankly, we must secure peace on Terra, and we will secure peace across the globe. Our umbrella for Hulstria comes as they fear a legitimate threat. While we will not cozy up to them, we will not see them obliterated. I speak now directly to the Southern Secessionists among us: I urge you to reconsider. I understand your worries, your concerns, your issues, but we must not let ourselves fall to chaos and division. The Dorvish identity is one, and secession is not the answer. Altogether, I wish to do three things with my Presidency: one, secure peace. Two, secure Dorvik. And three, unify Dorvik. What more can we wish for? |
