Description[?]:

This is a collection of RP laws that are currently in place along with links to the bills where they were passed (and the current consolidated text of the Basic Law). They will be enforced by moderation.

1) Basic Law of the United Imperial Crownlands (Originally passed here: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=549521)
This contains numerous RPing provisions, most importantly:
- the institution of a Bundesrat-like upper house known as the Council of the Lands
- a ban on racist and anti-democratic political parties
- provisions for simulating various non-mechanical parts of the Basic Law, including local government
The Basic Law can be amended by a two-thirds majority. This archive contains the consolidated version of the original basic law and its amendments: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=550098

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
