Science and Technology Minister Stefan Ramos proposes reopening the national space agency that was recently closed due to a law passed by a majority of Congress. The Minister is proposing a compromise to where private companies will contract with the agency and it will provide oversight. The agency will provide safety and needed oversight but will not add burdensome regulations. Opening the space agency again will show the government's commitment to space exploration and research, a high priority of the Minister. |
