| Members of the Assembly, We have seen the growth in government control of industry for the past couple years. We are against this! I propose a more mixed plan: Government oversees the economy making sure industries do not fail, but does not take active control over it. This policy has been adopted my many nations throughout Terra and I see no reason why our country shouldn't do so as well. --- Regino Kuzmanido |

Old value:: The state owns the commanding heights of the economy and all major industries, but private ownership is allowed in the minor industries.
Current: Certain industries are owned by the state, all others are under private ownership.
Proposed: The government acts as an investor of last resort, by nationalizing failing industries that provide vital goods or services.
