Description[?]:
Work is needed on the small farms of Dorvik and they are hamstrung by the inability of country folk to hire youth to do temporary, safe, but tedious tasks tat machinery is unable to do such as detasseling. Detasseling work is usually performed by teens and it serves as a typical rite of passage in rural areas. For many youths this is their first job and builds in them a work ethic while getting them outside working at manual labor. |
