Bill: The Deltarian Reformation III 4351

Details

Submitted by[?]: Deltarijanska Demokratska Unija - HD

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4353

Description[?]:

Following the Czar's continuous refusal to enter dialogue and have a healthy debate with the new government about his future and the agressive course of action he and his paramilitary's have undertaken we have come to the conclusion that our nation does not benefit from a monarchy any longer. A Republic would deliver us a better, more efficient and strong democracy without the possibility of intervention from any force. We regret this decision and are of the opinion that this was not the course of action we wanted. Hereby we propose the changing of the nation's name.

If this bill is passed the nations name will be changed to "Deltská republika (Republic of Deltaria)"

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller
