While it may conform with the religiousor political views of some of the more backwards members of our society, if we are to stand proud as a modern, civilized, and forward-thinking nation, we must abolish this archaic vestige of barbarism and adopt a modern and efficient judicial system. Current: Judicial corporal punishment (eg. caning or flogging) is legal.
