Bill: Worker's Rights Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Whig Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4374
Description[?]:
The hard-working people of Rutania should not be forced to join Union's just to gain employment nor should they be forced to pay the cost for funding the Unions in order to gain employment within the nation. The Unions should be able to stand on their own without these mandatory payments or policies forcing workers to join to keep employment. The Unions within this nation have exerted enormous influence in the nation thanks to policies such as this. The Whig party has long spoken out against corrupt union bosses and the power they hold over the people of this nation. Reforming national policy on this issue will allow for greater freedom in the workplace. I ask the Peoples Assembly to approve this measure and strike a blow to corrupt union bosses. -Prime Minister Threadgood |
