Bill: Budget proposal of October 4375

Details

Submitted by[?]: Whig Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4376

Description[?]:

The Whig Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Commonwealth of Rutania. Following passage of the Fair Taxation Act we propose further cuts to the Federal budget in order to maintain a policy of being fiscally responsible. This Assembly has the ability to do better than our predecessors and not kick the problem of ridding the nations deficit to the next assembly. This legislature has done the hard job of eliminating the deficit once and delivering tax cuts to all Rutanians, we now ask that they once again take up this task and leave the nations treasury better than they found it.

-Prime Minister Carson Threadgood
Chairman of the Whig Party
