| Herr Präsident, We believe there is no reason to retain ownership of all military industries. Of course, certain essential industries should be retained so as not to make us dependent on foreign companies (and suitable precautions taken against hostile takeover of our defence industries), but to own them all is a great cost to the taxpayer that also prevents us from seeking further cooperation with our allies in the Northern Council.
