Bill: NDU - 17: Fishing Quota Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nationale Demokratische Union (NDU)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4422

Description[?]:

Members of the Reichstag, Ministers of the Government:

During a debate on fishing quotas on the Agricultural Affairs Committee, it became increasingly apparent that it makes limited sense for the central government to determine fishing quotas. As only two of our Crownlands have a coastline, the governments of these regions are better suited to deciding, and monitoring, fish stock. We hope the government will consider this bill as an opportunity to bring government closer to the people.

Regīna Mekkeru,
Spokesperson for Food and Agricultural Affairs

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.

Random quote: "Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage." - Niccolo Machiavelli
