Bill: Livestock Regulation Act 4428

Details

Submitted by[?]: One World Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4429

Description[?]:

Current legislation does nothing to prevent livestock, such as cows or chickens, being kept in disgusting and dangerous conditions. We have no right to cause these animals undue harm by locking them in cages and preventing them from roaming free. We must regulate the creation and procedure that these farms are known to use.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.

Random quote: "The problem is big government. If whoever controls government can impose his way upon you, you have to fight constantly to prevent the control from being harmful. With small, limited government, it doesn't much matter who controls it, because it can't do you much harm." - Harry Browne
