Beluzian Armed Forces Act Article I - Purpose i) This act formally undertakes to enact, amend and reorganize, as necessary, the Beluzian Armed Forces. Article ii - Branches of Service i) There are 3 recognized branches of service constituting the Beluzian Armed Forces. These are: i-a) The Beluzian Army i-b) The Beluzian Navy i-c) The Beluzian Air Force Article iii - Mottos i) Beluzian Armed Forces: --- "Si vis pacem, para bellum" --- (If you wish for peace, prepare for war.) ii) The Beluzian Army: --- "Molon Labe" --- (Come and Take Them) iii) The Beluzian Navy: --- "De Oppresso Liber" --- (To Liberate The Oppressed) iv) The Beluzian Air Force: --- "Mors Ab Alto" --- (Death from Above) Article iv - Recruitment and Membership i) Method of recruitment and membership to the Beluzian Armed Forces is subject to the laws of Beluzia as established by Congress with respect to the following sections; i-a) Women in the military i-b) Government's position on paramilitaries i-c) Appointment of military officers i-d) National Military policy i-e) National Service Article v - Ranks, Pay and Command Structure i) Military ranks are subject to the Military Ranks Act ii) All members of the Beluzia Armed Forces are entitled to remuneration commensurate with their rank grade. iii) Command Structure is highlighted in the Military Structure Act (if necessary) Article vi - Weaponry i) The Congress of Beluzia establishes the following i-a) The government's policy concerning biological and chemical weaponry. (N/A) i-b) The government's policy concerning the use of chemical and biological weaponry in warfare. (N/A) i-c) The government's policy concerning the use of nuclear weaponry in warfare (N/A) i-d) The policy with respect to nuclear weaponry. (N/A) i-e) The government's policy towards the use of land mines by the army. i-f) Policy on the usage of drones and UAV's i-g) The government's policy concerning the export of weapons to other nations. ii) All other weapons are available to the Beluzian Armed Forces unless specified by Congress in RP laws. Article vii - Military Advisory Panel i) A military advisory panel will be selected to; i-a) Advise the Head of Government, Minister of Defense and other cabinet members, as required, on important military matters. i-b) Coordinate military strategy with political figures i-c) Identify threats to Beluzian interests ii) The Head of State and nominated Vice President/s may also attend these meetings subject to the pleasure of the Head of Government and Minister of Defence. iii) A Chief of Staff and A Deputy Chief of Staff shall be nominated by the Head of Government. iii-a) These positions are the most senior positions attainable in the military. iv) Additionally the Military Advisory Panel is constituted of (in no order of seniority); iv-a) The Head of the Army iv-b) The Head of the Navy iv-c) The Head of the Air Force iv-d) Joint Forces Command iv-d-a) Joint Forces Command is responsible for advising on combined military options. Article viii - Confirmation i) All positions on the Military Advisory Panel are subject to Congressional confirmation. ii-a) A majority of Congress is required to achieve confirmation. Article ix - Oath of Office i) All members of the Beluzian Armed Forces are subject to the articles confirmed in the Oath of Office Act. Article x - Justice i) The Beluzian Armed Forces are subject to the articles confirmed in the Beluzian Code of Military Justice.
