Bill: RP: Second Battle of Port Alexander

Details

Submitted by[?]: Soul & Spirit

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4638

Description[?]:

Last night at 8:46 PM, the forces of the rebellion of the Soul and Spirit once again tried an attack on Port Alexander. Having a minor advantage in organization and the support of large portions of the city, Spirit came in fighting 60,000 troops with 80,000 troops.

Forces stormed the city on the south and east sides, with intense urban combat ravaging several portions of the city. Jayden O'Brien directly stated that he wished for the city to not be bombarded with artillery, a decision he has made very well known. He has also offered a full pardon to the Duke of Port Alexander if he only surrendered the city.

The Duke of Port Alexander eagerly accepted this offer, although it appeared to change little in the scope of things.

After many hours of long fighting, many forces of the Republic of Mordusia were seen retreating from the city, although guerilla attacks continue to the point we are writing this.

Estimated death tolls are 6,700 for S&S and 9,200 for the ROM.

Jayden O'Brien and his forces currently control the city, and are continuing to push through the state against the forces of the Republic of Mordusia, capturing Thessel Creek only a few days later.

We will keep you updated.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.
