Violent crime causes untold damage to individuals and families the length of the nation. In order to reduce this cycle of violence, we propose to take guns off our streets and allow them to only rest in the hands of responsible and trained officers. The actions of the police under the old regime shall not however go unchallenged. We shall also outlaw the use of all unjust punishments and tactics used by officers and enforcement agents. Current: Police officers may only carry standard firearms apart from specially trained firearms units.

Old value:: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
