Bill: Food Labelling Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2201
Description[?]:
The price of Aldegarian food is being artificially inflated by the ridiculous requirements the law imposes upon companies to assess and list every detail about every single ingredient that goes into the food they sell. A more relaxed approach to the law will give us lower prices and boost the Aldegarian food industry. In cases where there is a genuine need for a food ingredient to be listed, consumer pressure will encourage companies to list it. Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |
