Bill: P.d.l 16/4475 Untying the Pharmaceuticals Industry

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partito Nazionale Democratico

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4476

Description[?]:

Othman Kassis, PND Whip,

The pharmaceuticals industry is crucial for the well being of Istalians. So why are we hindering progress by regulating their prices. This prevents the improvement of drugs as analogically, smartphones got much more expensive but also much better. Here, the price regulations make research and development unprofitable and hence we are stuck with old drugs, instead of allowing the profit to be another motivator to make better drugs to improve the health of our compatriots!
