Bill: AM AMALAM Income tax proposal of April 2202

Details

Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2202

Description[?]:

The AM AMALAM propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Republic of Likatonia.

Continuing the trend previously negotiated by the AM AMALAM, this bill seeks to further reduce the tax burden on Likatonian citizens.

In this proposal, we have NOT moved the cut-off point (which was one of the TWO options we were considering). We decided, instead, that MORE Likatonians would gain benefit from an OVERALL tax cut.

Thus - we recommend cutting the current tax rate from 35% to 30%.
