Bill: Child Labour Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Dorvish Popular Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2203
Description[?]:
This is a ridiculous law that hurts both rich and poor. As much as you idealistic socialist hippies believe that all children must be educated, you fail to realise two crucial things. Some families cannot afford to put their child through education, and also some children are not naturally suited to education, and should instead be free, along with their families, to make the decision whether or not to work. Additionally, some jobs are best suited to children as they are smaller and more agile. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning child labour.
Old value:: Child labour is forbidden.
Current: Child labour is forbidden.
Proposed: Child labour is allowed and it is subjected to the same regulations as adult labour.
