Bill: Second Attempt - Renaming of Tugart Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Socialiste
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4510
Description[?]:
We are proposing this again as the cowardly neo-fascists blocked this and then disbanded. With the support of 2/3 of the legislature, we propose the renaming of the city of Tugart to "Fort d'Aldurie". The Tugart family were a political dynasty who dominated the Parti National Canrillaise. We believe that no city should bear the name of any Aldurian politician, particularly not those belonging to the political class, such as the late former presidents William de Tugart and Charles de Tugart. Instead we propose a new, neutral and patriotic name, which pays homage to those who fought for our country's independence. |
