Bill: Budget proposal of September 2204

Details

Submitted by[?]: Whigs

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2205

Description[?]:

The Whigs propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Union of Quanzari Soviets.

Some important areas need to be raised even farther. We retain a surplus of approximately 20 Trillion Quanzars per year. To waste the money of the people would be wrong and foolish. We must put the money they give to us through taxes to good use, such as protecting the enviornment and helping scientific reserach.

If this bill passes, expect further economic reforms.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
