Description[?]:
The protection and careful management of the environment of our nation is of the upmost importance, without a healthy environment we risk the health of our citizens. In an age of large cities bustling with cars, we must remember the importance of clean air. Illnesses such as asthma and emphysema increase in areas of high pollution, these illnesses reduce the lifespan of our citizens and must be reduced. We propose the following plan to reduce the effects of pollution and increase the health of our citizens: 1.) The plantation of more trees is a solution to an increase of CO2, it must be considered as a viable option. 2.) The control of logging and protection of sensitive green areas is important for the health of the environment. 3.) Cleaner, more fuel efficient cars should be encouraged by means of tax incentives is required. 4.) Pollution must be monitored closely and industries that violate pollution controls should be fined in accordance with the amount of pollution caused. 5.) Recycling and reusing is an important aspect of the protection of our environment, by using less new materials we reduce our pollution output, industry is to always recycle their 'waste' products if able to. |
