Bill: The Legal Protection Of Transgender & Intersex Persons

Details

Submitted by[?]: Humanist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4554

Description[?]:

The Humanist Party strongly believes in the equality of all persons, no matter their gender, sex, sexuality, race or religion.
We note that this nation currently has an appalling civil rights record and our resolve to change this is as strong as ever, to this end we propose the following for the consideration of the senate.

1.) The legal protection of transgender and intersex persons so that they may enjoy the same legal protection as any other persons within our nation.

2.) The right for people to self-identify in relation to their gender without the unwanted and unneeded interference from the state.

3.) The protection of intersex children against medically unnecessary surgery until such a time that they are able to determine their own gender for themselves.

4.) The right for people to dress in clothing they feel comfortable in, without the interference of the state.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.
