Bill: Justice Reform Act
Details
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 4616
Description[?]:
Solidarität believes that these two reforms to our criminal justice system (as not taking DNA from suspects but only convicts, and limiting the power of police to conduct warrantless searches) will ensure justice is protected under our system of laws, without overly burdening individuals or suspects who have their charges dropped. These are not radical changes, but steps towards good government and rights of the accused. |
