Description[?]:
Whilst the NDP is a new party, our principles are strongly felt by the general public in our native Gao-Soto. It is a core belief of Professor and President of the NDP, Inouye Yakamochi, that Gao-Sotoan culture is deeply rooted in nature, and in some respects, agriculture. Several laws that have been in effect for countless years have either neglected the care for our land, or our shared care for certain animals. While most Gao-Sotoans engage in a meat diet, it has long been brought to our attention the utter lack of welfare for livestock, both in our land and in Hulstria. Time after time, we have seen gut-wrenching footage as well as in-depth reports of the brutal, and often reckless methods for the slaughter of livestock, alongside a lack of safety and health standards. Even so recently as a few months ago, the regional office for the Ministry of Health and Social Services, in Hirugā reported ten different isolated incidents of food poisoning. Enough is enough. It is time, we believe, to enforce higher agricultural, ecological, and animal welfare standards in not only our land, but the Hulstrians as well.
