| This bill is crafted to reform the pension system to allow for a national pension plan and to create a system where Solentians can get a helping hand when they fall on hard times. The unemployment assistance, though necessary, must not be permanent. That is so that people can be encouraged to seek employment as soon as possible. |

Old value:: There shall be no direct cash payments to individuals to guarantee a minimum income.
Current: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government.
Proposed: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.
